If there was one country in the World where I wouldn’t recommend an Uber, it would be Turkey. The yellow cabs were more readily available than an Uber, which took 30 min or so to arrive and most Uber drivers didn’t speak any English, so it was harder to speak to them over the phone and make them understand exactly where you would want them to pick you up. The yellow cabs on the other hands were very professional and spoke multiple languages and I felt a lot safer in a yellow cab who also seem to know the quickest way to the destinations.
