Munich is one of the world’s leading cities for trade fairs. Some 40 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies with more than 30,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and more than two million visitors from over 200 countries participate in fairs and exhibitions in Munich each year.

Airport congestion is expected and all General Aviation flights are subject to special permission for operation during the trade fairs.

There are a few option around Munich as alternative destination like EDDN, EDMO, ETSI or EDJA. NOTAMS are published accordingly and we strongly recommend checking them before planning your trip.
